A look back at Lea Marlene’s American Idol performances

0

During Leah Marlene’s American Idol audition, the judges seemed as enamored with her quirky personality as with her talent.

In fact, they compared her to Catie Turner, who finished Top 7 in Season 16.

“You carry your strangeness so well,” Lionel Richie told Leah at the time. “And that is a wonderful part of being an artist.”

Turns out Leah has done a lot of things well on Idol, enough to make the Season 20 finals.

Enough to win?

We’ll find out Sunday when Idol airs its three-hour season finale, which begins at 8 p.m. on ABC.

The Top 3 — Leah, Noah Thompson and HunterGirl — will perform songs by Bruce Springsteen and an original released last week (“Flowers” in Leah’s case). A new American Idol will be crowned at the end of the night.

Here’s a look back at Leah’s American Idol performances.
