Noah Thompson is the least experienced of the American Idol Top 3.
But when the American Idol contestants released original songs a week ago, his — “One Day Tonight” — bolted into the iTunes Top 10.
It stayed there for days and was the only single still clinging to the Top 100 (at number 76) on Saturday.
Clearly, the 19-year-old from Louisa, Ky., has made a connection with fans.
We’ll find out how strong a connection Sunday night when the Top 3 square off in a three-hour season finale, beginning at 8 p.m. on ABC. A new American Idol will be crowned at the end of the show.
