And it’s another heartfelt ballad, accentuated by an impressive near a cappella ending.
This one’s called “Tsunami” about a lover Ricky calls his “perfect storm.”
Jokes Ricky on Twitter: “Count on me for all your sad song needs.”
He says he wrote the song with friend Duran Visek a couple of years ago. Wilson Weston produced the new single.
Ricky, 23, finished in the Top 20 on The Voice Season 7 back in the fall of 2014.
He released his first single since, “L.A. is Lonely,” in November. The song made Voice Views’ list of Top 20 post-Voice songs of 2017.
We might see more of Ricky in the not-too-distant future. American Idol spoiler sites include his name among the notables who auditioned.
Here’s “Tsunami.”
