New music Tuesday not only brings a new album from Lee DeWyze, but a new single from Season 5 Idol contestant Kellie Pickler.

Fresh off her win on Dancing with the Stars, Kellie released the ballad “Someone Somewhere Tonight” in June.

Kellie Pickler released her second single with Black River Entertainment Tuesday.

Kellie Pickler released her second single with Black River Entertainment Tuesday.

It marked her first single with Black River Entertainment.

It’s one of the best songs Kellie has ever released.

It’s one of the best songs released by a former Idol contestant this year.

But it barely made a ripple on the country charts.

It debuted at number 57 on Billboard’s country airplay chart. It later peaked at number 49.

Now she’s back with the much more upbeat “Little Bit Gypsy.”

It’s a song co-written by her songwriter husband Kyle Jacobs. And it’s more in keeping with Kellie’s fun-loving persona on Idol, so maybe it will be the song that returns her to chart success.

If you haven’t heard it, here’s “Little Bit Gypsy,” now available on iTunes.

And if you missed the video for “Someone Somewhere Tonight,” head here.
