Daughtry’s new album, Cage to Rattle, lands July 27.

 

We’re just a week away from the release of Daughtry’s new album, “Cage to Rattle.”

And Chris and the guys dropped a new song from the upcoming album Friday called “Death of Me.”

You can check out the power ballad below.

It follows lead single “Backbone,” “White Flag” and “Dead End,” released earlier this summer

All four tunes are available as instant downloads for anyone pre-ordering the album.

Daughtry has also announced a long list of dates on their “Cage to Rattle” tour, which runs through mid-December and includes visits to the U.K. and South Africa.

Closer to home, Daughtry will performing at the Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa., on Aug. 4, the Bloomsburg (Pa.) Fair on Sept. 21 and in Ocean City, Md., on Sept. 22.

“Cage to Rattle” will be Daughtry’s first new album of originals since 2013. The band released a greatest hits album featuring a couple of new songs two years ago.
