Former American Idol finalist Vonzell Solomon recently released a new video for her latest single, “Stronger.”

First, don’t get this song confused with the Kelly Clarkson or Mandisa hits by the same name.

“Stronger” is apparently a very popular theme with former Idols.

Vonzell’s song comes from her January 2012 “True Story” EP, available on iTunes.

It’s a tune about learning to love again.

“This song is about finding yourself, because things can make or break you. I try to flip negative things into a positive,” Vonzell says in the “behind the scenes” video for the song.

Now 30, Vonzell got the nickname Baby V back when she was performing on Idol.

She finished third on Season 4, just missing the finals that featured Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice.

“True Story” features eight of her originals. And if you’re searching for it on iTunes, use only her last name or you won’t find it. You can also check out Vonzell’s revamped website here.

Now, the video.
