Adam Lambert, New Idol Music

Adam Lambert answers questions about Trespassing

0

With a new single out and a new album just a month away, Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert held a Twitter party last night and answered a host of questions from his fans.

Among the things we learned.

* Adam wrote on 12 of the 15 tracks on the deluxe version of “Trespassing.”

* The toughest track to record was “Underneath,” which Adam classified as “a beast.”

* Asked what colors he associates with his new music, Adam replied: “black and yellow, honey. Caution …”

* He thinks fans will be able to tell how much he’s grown as an artist by the new songs.

* He’s not certain who will direct his next video, but guarantees “it’s gonna be epic.”

* And, yes, a vinyl version of “Trespassing” will be available.

As for the second single — “Never Close Our Eyes” — you can download it from iTunes.

It’s also available as a free download with a pre-order of the deluxe version of “Trespassing.”

The song was written by Bruno Mars and Dr. Luke, and I’ve embedded it below for your listening pleasure.

Adam has to hope it fares better than lead single “Better Than I Know Myself,” which disappeared with a whimper, never climbing higher than its debut at number 76 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

“Trespassing,” the album, is set for a May 15 release.
