Queen is set to embark on its first tour in six years with former Idol runner-up Adam Lambert as its frontman.

As a warm-up, the band performed on the iHeartRadio theater in Los Angeles on Monday, and I’ve included photos from the show at the bottom of this blog.

The 24-date North American tour kicks off in Chicago Thursday night and will include stops in Philadelphia (July 16), Columbia, Md. (July 20) and Atlantic City (July 26).

The Philly show will be at the Wells Fargo Center and base ticket prices range from $35 to $125. Head here for more info.

The Maryland show will be held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, with tickets ranging from $45 to $125; and tickets for the Atlantic City show at Boardwalk Hall start at $50.

Head here for the complete list of tour dates.

When the tour was announced in March, Queen’s Roger Taylor called Adam “the most incredible frontman.”

Adam said he expects the tour to be “a huge milestone” for him. “I feel like magic will be on display,” he said at the time.

Adam and Queen have performed together before, including at the 2013 iHeart Music Festival and the European MTV Music Awards.
