Turns out more people than Christina Aguilera are turned on by Adam Wakefield’s voice.

The Team Blake singer also scored an iTunes hit with his cover of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home to Me.”

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, the song was sitting at number 84 on the iTunes overall singles chart. It was at 23 on the iTunes country singles chart.

That’s the best showing for any song featured during Tuesday’s episode of The Voice.

Adam defeated Peyton Parker in their knockout round match, meaning he advances to the Season 10 live playoffs.

Tuesday’s show also featured Tamar Davis’ knockout round win over Maya Smith and Moushumi’s victory over Nick Hagelin.

Tamar sang “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith. That song was sitting at 17 on the iTunes R&B singles chart Wednesday morning.

Moushumi sang “New Americana” by Halsey. It had failed to chart as of 9 a.m. But check back this evening; I’ll be updating the iTunes rankings.

The most popular song from this week remains Hannah Huston’s “House of the Rising Sun,” now up to 32 on the iTunes Top 200.
