0

Just a week after Joe Perry showed up on American Idol to celebrate Steven Tyler’s birthday, Aerosmith news was center stage again on the show Thursday night.

Yep, the band will be heading out on tour in mid-June. And that tour will include stops at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly on July 21 and at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J., three days later.

Tickets for the Philly show range from $49.50 to $149.50, plus fees. VIP packages are also available through the band’s website, though the top two are already sold out.

Cheap Trick will accompany Aerosmith on the tour, which opens in Minneapolis and closes in early August in Tacoma, Wash. Head here for a complete list of dates.

Aerosmith also plans to release a new album this summer.
