Nearly a week has passed since the American Idol Top 20 solo performances aired.

And two of those performances have since logged more than 1 million views on YouTube.

Alejandro Aranda is continuing his run as the show’s viral sensation. His cover of “I Fall Apart” had been viewed 2.6 million times as of Friday evening, nearly twice as often as any of the other Top 20 performances.

That’s nothing new for the 24-year-old Californian, who released three pre-show singles under the stage name Scarypoolparty.

His audition video is up to 7.7 million views; his Top 70 performance up to 1.7 million. Both are easily tops among the Idol Season 17 cast.

Laine Hardy is the other contestant to log 1 million views from Top 20, when a number of contestants turned in stellar performances.

Members of the Top 20 return to the stage Sunday and Monday nights in celebrity duets as the show cuts to a Top 14.
