“I’m so proud to call this my first music video,” Alexis writes on Facebook. “I don’t mind how I look either.”

The video comes on the heels of Alexis’ first EP, the five-track “Kiddo,” that landed on iTunes last week.

“I’m So Done,” released as a single is the first track. The EP also features “James Dean,” another single Alexis previously released. You should also check out the EP closer, “You Will Miss Me.”

The EP title is a tribute to her dad, who died last summer.

“He was one of, if not the biggest musical influences of my life,” Alexis says in her Indiegogo campaign launched to help fund the EP and video. “(Kiddo) was my nickname he gave me. He was a professional bass player on Beale street for almost 40 years, and didn’t stop until he literally couldn’t play, so neither will I.”

Alexis finished 11th on Season 8 of Idol. She also works as a DJ at Q107.5 in Memphis, Tenn.
