PBS will air its annual July 4 special A Capital Fourth Monday night, and a pair of singing show stars will play key roles.

Alisan Porter, latest winner of The Voice, will kick off the evening by singing the national anthem.

And featured performers at the event include Cassadee Pope, Season 3 winner of The Voice, who just released a new country EP called “Summer.”

PBS will air the event from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Monday; television personality Tom Bergeron will serve as host.

Other performers include Smokey Robinson, Kenny Loggins, Gavin DeGraw, Jackie Evacho, Sutton Foster, Yolanda Adams and the cast of the Broadway Musical “On Your Feet.”
