Number one hits aren’t exactly uncommon for Carrie Underwood.
And she just scored another.
Billboard has released its latest music charts, and Carrie’s new “Smoke Break” single is sitting atop the country digital songs chart, bumping Sam Hunt’s “House Party” from that spot.
That’s not all.
Carrie is already at number five on the hot county songs chart, number 22 on the country airplay cart and number 43 on the Hot 100, which includes singles from all genres.
A darn good start as she prepares to released her new album, “Storyteller,” on Oct. 23.
If all the recent Carrie news has you itching to see her live, there’s an opportunity coming up later this week.
Carrie will play the grandstand at the Great Allentown Fair on Thursday with Josh Dorr as her opening act.
Tickets are $67 and $87 and, apparently, a few are still available. You can head here for details.
