While she was disappointed to make it that far without qualifying for the lives shows, she says she used it as motivation.

She’s been taking dance lessons every week and said she’s performed more than 200 shows since her elimination.

Alyssa auditioned For Season 17 with “Shark in the Water.” And given her composure and maturity — and vocal skills — it’s hard to believe she’s still only 16.

Lionel Richie said it was great to see a baby bird return to the nest and shine. Luke Bryan loved how comfortable she seemed performing this time around.

And Alyssa, of course, is Hollywood bound.

Alyssa left holding a golden ticket and vowing to do even more with it this time around.
