Alyssa Raghu of American Idol Season 17 has a new single out.

Alyssa Raghu has an upbeat new single called “Supersonic Bad Babe.”

It’s her first release since a return to American Idol in Season 22 that couldn’t have gone nearly as well as she hoped.

Of the new song, she says: “This club track talks about feeling supersonic in your own skin. Spreading love is the only way.”

In another post, she adds: “Every woman should feel supersonic. You have nothing to prove, babe. Just live.”

Alyssa performed the song at a sold-out Juneteenth Celebration in San Diego last week.

Alyssa made the Top 24 on Season 16 of Idol, then returned for Season 17 at age 16 and advanced all the way to the Top 8.

But her third attempt at Idol this year ended with her elimination during the final judgment, just before the voting rounds began.

Her audition also proved controversial. She accompanied a friend to those auditions and left with a golden ticket to Hollywood while the friend left empty-handed.
