American Idol has announced the dates for those small town bus tours that will be used as one method of auditioning for Season 14.

The Idol buses will make six stops on the West Coast and five on the East Coast. The closest to south central Pennsylvania will be a July 15 stop in Richmond, Va.

Other East Coast stops will include July 9 in Portland, Maine; July 12 in Columbus, Ohio; July 17 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and July 20 in Talahassee, Fla.

On the West Coast, Idol will be stopping in Portland, Oregon, on July 9; Reno, Nev., on July 12; Albuquerque, N.M., on July 15; Amarillo, Texas, on July 17; Branson, Missouri, on July 19; and Kansas City, Missouri, on July 21.

Auditions will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and singers need to show up with proof of age, plus a guardian if they’re under 18.

Idol is also recommending arriving as early as possible, as there’s no guarantee they’ll be able to audition everyone.
