Here’s a photo gallery from Monday’s head-to-head duets on American Idol.
It’ll also serve as a guide to who advanced to the Top 24 and who didn’t as Jelly Roll stepped in to mentor the Idol hopefuls.
This marked the first time Idol has used the head-to-head format to pick most of the Top 24.
I hated the format, and will be explaining why it was a complete misfire — and a poor concept to begin with — in a future blog.
Remember, Gabby Samone, Canaan James Hill, Zaylie Windsor and Mattie Pruitt had already advanced to the Top 24 based on the strength of their showstopper performances.
