Two Season 22 favorites from American Idol have teamed up to release a new song.
Kayko and Kaibrienne, both Top 10 finishers on the show, released “Feel the Same” on Nov. 1.
Kayko describes “Feel the Same” as a song about “that awful moment in a relationship when you realize you have to break up.”
Kayko and Kabrienne have also been performing the song, appropriately enough, on the Young and Out of Love Tour.
They’re touring the nation through the end of November with two other Idol standouts, Blake Proehl from Season 22 and Haven Madison from Season 21.
That tour will be stopping in Vienna, Va. (the D.C. area) on Monday, followed by a show in Philly on Tuesday.
In fact, 14 dates remain. Check out the show dates below. For tickets, follow this link.
Meanwhile, Kaibrienne is preparing to released her third solo single, “Walk Away,” a song set to drop Nov. 15.
Her first two — “Girl I Am Now” and “Teach Me How to Love You” — have combined for more than 2 million streams on Spotify.
Kayko is also doing well on streaming sites. He had released music prior to appearing on Idol and has seven songs with more than 200,000 streams on Spotify, led by “Time of Your Life” with 1.4 million.
