American Idol Top 3 return home, duet partners announced

0

American Idol’s Top 3 enjoyed their homecoming visits on Tuesday.

For Noah Thompson, that meant a return to Louisa, Kentucky. Leah Marlene journeyed back to Normal, Ill. And HunterGirl’s homecoming took place in Winchester, Tenn.

Each contestant was treated to a homecoming parade and gave a short concert to supporters. Idol will surely air footage from those visits during Sunday’s three-hour Season 20 finale.

Below, I’ve embedded a bit of video that’s been uploaded to YouTube from those hometown visits.

And, yep, that’s Noah performing alongside former Voice contestant Kameron Marlowe.

Meanwhile, Idol just announced duet partners for the Top 3.

Leah will sing “Fireworks” with Katy Perry. Seems Katy stumbled upon a YouTube video of Leah belting out her hit song when Leah was just 9.

Luke Bryan will perform with HunterGirl. And Noah Thompson will perform with Melissa Etheridge.

Here’s the video footage.
