Need a little pick-me-up during this long brutal winter?
New music Tuesday brings a delightful pop EP from former American Idol contestant Charity Vance.
The EP is called “Love Me” and features five originals, plus acoustic versions of two of the songs.
It hit iTunes this morning.
Charity came to my attention when she made the Hollywood round at age 17 back in Season 9. Partly because of a catchy single she’d already released called “Icing.”
She made it to Hollywood again in Season 10, but failed to advance to the semifinals.
Then she headed to Nashville to make music.
And she’s been releasing a good deal lately, including three singles and an EP last year and a very sweet sounding cover of “Say Something” earlier this year.
To check out Charity’s music, head to her website or YouTube channel.
Charity also has a StageIt show scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. You can head here to learn more about that.
Meanwhile, here’s “It’s Alright,” one of the songs from the new EP.
