An unexpected treat: a new Kelly Clarkson song for free

2

Here’s an unexpected treat on new music Tuesday — a new song from Kelly Clarkson, and a free download at that.

It’s part of Pepsi’s NLF Anthems promotion.

Each NFL team will get its own anthem, courtesy of celebrity in the music business.

First up: Kelly with a song called “Get Up” for the Texas gals favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys.

“My family now thinks I’ve made it,” Kelly says jokingly in an interview with Hollywood Reporter. “Ten years of working your butt off means nothing until you’ve done something for the Cowboys.”

Check out the interview. In it, Kelly talks about why the first year of Idol was “the ghetto” season and about her involvement with duets.

As for “Get Up,” you can go here to listen to and download the song. Apparently some future downloads are going to require a redemption code from Pepsi products, but I downloaded Kelly’s song with a simple push of a button.

You can also enter to win a trip to the Super Bowl.
