The folks at the Country Music Association must figure Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have a little chemistry working for them.
The country stars announced via Facebook this morning that they’d be back as host of the CMA Music Awards for the fourth straight year.
“I don’t know why on earth they think that’s working, but here we go again,” Brad deadpanned. “Can’t wait to do it.”
This year’s awards show is set for 8 p.m. Nov. 9 on ABC.
Oh, the video announcement from Brad and Carrie came from the set of the “Remind Me” music video.
The duet is featured on Brad’s new album and has been a chart success, checking in at number 13 on Billboard’s country singles chart last week and at number 30 on the Hot 100.

Back to the CMAs.
Brad won Entertainer of the Year honors at last year’s CMAs. Carrie was nominated in two categories, album of the year and female vocalist of the year; both went to Miranda Lambert.
Last year’s CMAs also featured performances by Carrie and Kelly Clarkson (in her duet with Jason Aldean, of course), and offered Kellie Pickler a chance to show off her then-new engagement ring.
