Anya True released a song called “Lavender Bugs” on Friday. Olivia Rubini dropped a single called “Love Em and Leave ‘Em” two weeks ago.
Both wound up on Team Dan + Shay for the playoffs, which aired Monday. They were eliminated when Dan + Shay decided to advance Madison Curbelo, Tae Lewis and Karen Waldrup.
Anya’s new song is a sensitive ballad featuring her trademark sound.
“This song is for the people pleasers, thought daughters, loyal friends, and people who live in a world of their own filled with rainbows and happiness and everything perfect (i am guilty),” she writes on Instagram.
It follows “Hannah” as the second song she’s released since The Voice Season 25 premiere.
Anya, 17, of Encinitas, Calif., earned her spot on the show with a blind audition performance of “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez.
Olivia’s single is a rocker. It’s also the second song she’s released since her Voice audition aired, following “Heartless Woman,” which dropped in late March.
More new music is coming, she promises in a social media post about her Voice experience.“Making it to the top 20 has so far exceeded any expectations i could have ever had when this process began,” she writes in part. “This has truly been the biggest blessing & honor.”
You might recall that Olivia, 24, of Wilmington, Del., earned the very last spot on Season 25, thanks to a lovely version of Linda Ronstadt’s “Long Long Time” by Linda Ronstadt.
Olivia has a couple of live performance already on the books after her Voice run. For instance, on June 8, she’ll be co-headlining a show at the Sunrise Festival in Rehoboth Beach, Del., with fellow Voice contestants Karen Waldrup and Julia Roome.
