At long last, Trent Harmon has announced a release date for his debut album.

The Season 15 Idol champ will release “You Got ‘Em All” on May 19.

The album will drop more than two years after Trent was crowned Idol on the show’s final season on FOX.

That marks the longest gap ever between an Idol victory and a debut album.

Said Trent in making the announcement on Good Morning America: “It’s been a lot of strange long trips to get here. But I’d rather get it right and correct than get it quickly.”

The good news: The album’s title track, already released as a single, sounds like a country hit.

And Trent co-wrote eight of the album’s 11 songs and says he’s proud of that fact and that the album will be so personal.

The bad: Regardless of what Trent says about getting “it right,” the track list smacks of a quickie, minimum investment release, which makes you wonder just how invested the Big Machine label is in the project.

It’s 11 tracks include Trent’s old single, “There’s a Girl,” and two of his covers from Idol — “Chandelier” and “Falling.”

Other than the Idol coronation song, I’m pretty sure that’s the first time Idol covers have been included on a winner’s debut album.

Worse, all three tracks were on an EP Trent released in December 2016.
