Blake Shelton won four awards, and Carrie Underwood and Scotty McCreery snagged one each during the American Country Awards on FOX Tuesday night. Blake, who was otherwise occupied coaching on The Voice, took album of the year honors for “Based on a True Story.”
Tessanne Chin was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Adam, she made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Jacquie Lee was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Christina, she made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel.”
Will Champlin was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Adam, he made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed Fun’s “Carry On.”
Cole Vosbury was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Blake, he made it to the Top 5 on fan voting and performed Garth Brooks’ “Shameless.”
James Wolpert was one of the Top 5 to perform on The Voice Monday night. Competing for Team Adam, he made it to the Top 5 via an instant save last week and performed U2’s “With or Without You.”
Wow, in my mind, Voice voters did one heck of a job during the Monday-Tuesday voting window. They made the perfect choices in advancing Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin to next week’s Voice finals.
Tessanne Chin got to close a show on The Voice for the first time in five weeks. And she made the most of it.
I still don’t understand what The Voice is doing tonight. Oh, I understand what NBC is doing. The network is trying to kick off its fourth season of “The Sing-Off” with a flourish. And it figures that will be easier following a one-hour episode of The Voice than after we’ve listened to two hours of…
If he makes the finals, Cole Vosbury might have an edge before the singing even begins. That’s because he’s put together the best iTunes performance of the five contestants left on The Voice.
