American Idol judges managed to botch a couple more semifinal selections Thursday night. When the dust settled and two hours of mostly mediocre performances ended, Cortez Shaw, Nick Boddington, Burnell Taylor, Vincent Powell and Lazaro Arbos were heading to next week’s semifinal round.

And so the gals’ semifinals are set on American Idol. Wednesday night, Candice Glover, Janelle Arthur, Aubrey Cleland, Breanna Steer and Zoanette Johnson (ugh!) advanced.
