Blake Lewis and Elliott YaminThis should be exciting news for longtime American Idol fans.

Blake Lewis and Elliott Yamin are heading out on tour together again later this month, and three of their seven dates are in this general area.

The Soul Box Tour stops will include:

* Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh. Tickets start at $15; meet-and-greet tickets are available for $45. Head here for more info.

* Monday, Sept. 28 at Jammin Java in Vienna, Va. (D.C. suburbs). Again, tickets start at $15 with a meet and greet option for an additional #30. Head here for info.

* Tuesday, Sept. 29 at Ram’s Head Live in Annapolis, Md. Tickets are $22.50, plus an additional $30 if you want to attend the earlier meet and greet. Head here for info.

Elliott and Blake also performed some shows together earlier this year in the San Diego area.

Elliott, of course, finished third on Season 5 of American Idol, behind Katharine McPhee and Taylor Hicks.

He’s since released a trio of albums — “Elliott Yamin” (2007), “Fight for Love” (2009) and “Let’s Get to What’s Real” (2012).

Blake was runner-up to Jordin Sparks in Season 6 and also has three albums to his credit, “Audio Day (2007), “Heartbreak on Vinyl” (2009) and “Portrait of a Chameleon” (2014).

Oh, and his video treatment for “Retro Romance,” a song from the latter album was my pick for best American Idol video of 2014.
