Brittney Lawrence from Season 10 of The Voice has released her first post-show single.

It’s an upbeat country song called “No Summertime Fling” and landed earlier this month.

The song was written by Mike Klippel and Bruce Carder and, on Facebook, Brittney calls it her “my favorite collaboration thus far!!!”

Check out the great a cappella opening on the live version I’ve embedded below.

Brittney, from Jacksonville, Fla., was 21 when she auditioned for The Voice and landed a spot on Team Blake Shelton by singing Demi Lovato’s “Warrior” in the blind auditions.

She was eliminated in the battle round when she was pitted against eventual Top 8 finisher Paxton Ingram in a performance of “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

You can keep up with Brittney through her Facebook page. On Twitter, she’s @MissBrittneyL.
