New post-Voice music released over the past two weeks includes singer-songwriter singles from former show standouts Britton Buchanan, Taylor John Williams and Emily Keener.

Here’s a look at those releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

Britton Buchanan from Season 14 waited nearly two years after finishing second on The Voice to release his first post-show single, “Cross My Mind,” last month. Now he’s already back with another, “Juliet’s Lullaby.” Britton, 20, says “Juliet’s Lullaby is a song I wrote when I was 16, alone in my bedroom with my acoustic guitar. When I wrote it, I felt as though I was somehow writing something honest and special.”

Taylor John Williams from Season 7 has also released his second single of 2020, “Leticia.” Writes Taylor John: “Inspired by the beautiful and tragic character from Marc Forster’s film ‘Monster’s Ball,’ this is a song about attempting to reconnect with your sexuality and sense of self worth.” It follows last month’s release of “Malibu.” Taylor John has also launched a Patreon page for supporters.

Emily Keener from Season 10 has released “Do You Love Me Lately?” It’s her first single since her fine 2016 album “Breakfast.” It’s also the lead single off her upcoming third album, “I Do Not Have to Be Good,” due out May 22. Emily, 21, told Atwood Magazine she wrote the song while wondering what it would be like to date a woman. “I wrote the song for people who are working through their desires and their fears simultaneously. It’s a vulnerable place to be so I wanted to create music that could be someone’s companion throughout that experience.”
