Brynn Cartelli, just 14 when she auditioned for the show, performed Rascal Flatts “Here Comes Goodbye” on Tuesday’s episode.
Her performance earned her a spot in the live playoffs with Team Kelly Clarkson.
It also rocketed onto the iTunes overall singles chart.
By midnight, it was number 136 on that chart — the only song from Tuesday’s show to crack the Top 200.
By noon Wednesday, it retained that distinction, and had jumped all the way to number 62 on that chart, making it the most successful knockout round performance yet.
It was also number 12 on the difficult-to-scale country singles chart.
Brynn, Terrence Cunningham, Christiana Danielle and Pryor Baird earned spots in the live playoffs in the knockout round matches that aired Tuesday.
And all four had cracked the Top 200 on iTunes genre charts.
Here’s where the songs stood at noon eastern time Wednesday. I always end my rankings at noon because that’s when voting ends following a live episode of The Voice.
