New Idol Music, Season 12, Season 12 finals

Candice, Kree hit iTunes and how to find Angie’s single

At long last, Season 12 American Idols are on the iTunes chart.

As followers of the show know, Idol doesn’t let iTunes reveal how popular tunes performed on the show are while the finals are in progress.

With Candice Glover crowned the winner Thursday night, the ban has apparently been lifted.

But like most things Idol in Season 12, there’s bad news along with the good.

In addition to first singles from Candice and runner-up Kree Harrison, Idol allowed Angie Miller to release her original, “You Set Me Free,” a song she wrote and performed during Hollywood Week.

I went to download it last night after Ryan announced on the show that it would be available, typed in Angie’s name and couldn’t find it.

Oh, well, it’s not like that’s the first time I’ve heard something would be available on iTunes and it wasn’t until a couple of days later.

Come to find out, the problem is that someone spelled Angie’s name wrong.

You want to find the single to download it, just look for Angie Miler — that’s right, with one “l.” Or you can search by song title.

As a result, naturally, Angie’s single is nowhere to be found on iTunes Top 200 today.

That’s not the case for Candice or Kree.

As of 11 a.m., Candice’s single, “I Am Beautiful,” sat at number 12 on iTunes list of most downloaded singles.

Kree Harrison’s “All Cried Out” was number 41.

And, yes, you heard correctly, you can already download Candice’s yet-to-be recorded debut album.

It will be called “Music Speaks.” Right now it has one song, the aforementioned single, blank spots for nine others and a pre-order price of $7.99.

FYI, Angie’s songs not in the chart bcoz AI didn’t allow iTunes to publish it in the chart. They put their logo in her album cover. It may already be in the #1 spot with 2000 plus ratings vs Candice’s 700 plus.

The Miller misspelling was no accident…it kept Angela miller from eclipsing the other 2 finalists…American Idol is a master at manipulation. They got the winner they wanted, but show no respect to the contestants they use and duped viewers.
