Two teens from New Jersey have the best performing songs on iTunes from the first night of battle round performances on The Voice.
In fact, as of 9:30 a.m., they had the only songs from Monday’s episode to crack the top 200 on iTunes singles download chart.
Caroline Pennell, 17, of Saddle River, N.J., leads the way with her rendition of Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me.” It was sitting at number 65 on the overall iTunes singles chart and at number 27 on the pop chart.
Caroline won her Team Cee Lo battle against Anthony Paul; Anthony was then stolen by Team Christina.
Meanwhile, Jacquie Lee, 16, of Colts Neck, N.J., is sitting at number 153 overall with her version of “House of the Rising Sun.” That download is number 50 on iTunes’ pop chart.
Jacquie Lee won her Team Christina battle against Briana Cuoco; Briana was then stolen by Team Blake.
Other performances from last night to show up on the chart are as follows:
* Amber Nicole, number 17 on the R&B chart with “Listen.”
* Briana Cuoco, number 115 on the pop chart with her version of “House of the Rising Sun”
* Tessanne Chin, number 147 on the pop chart with “Next To Me.”
* Grey, number 197 on the pop chart with “Domino.”
* Shelbie Z., number 139 on the country chart with “Don’t You Want to Stay.”
