Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley to return as CMA hosts

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley aren’t breaking up.

At a time when musical partnerships seem to be falling by the wayside, they’ll return as co-hosts of the CMA Awards — billed as “Country’s Biggest Night” — for an eighth straight year.

This year’s County Music Association Awards show will be broadcast at 8 p.m., Nov. 4 on ABC.

Carrie and Brad have developed quite a routine over the years, poking fun at one another. You can check out some of the fun moments from the past in the video at right.

And last year, they used the show to make a major announcement — that Carrie would be having a baby boy. Isaiah Michael Fisher, her first child with hubby and hockey star Mike Fisher — was born on Feb. 27.

Nominees for the 2015 CMA Awards will be announced Sept. 9 on ABC’s “Good Morning America” by former American Idol judge Steven Tyler.

Last year’s winners included soon-to-be exes Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton as female and male vocalists of the year, respectively, and Luke Bryan as entertainer of the year.

Carrie has also been working on new music and was recently filming a video for her next, yet-to-be-announced single.
