Carrie Underwood will be going for her fourth win as female vocalist of the year at the Academy of County Music Awards Sunday night in Las Vegas.

Carrie won the honor in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and was the ACM Entertainer of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She’s the only female to win that award twice.

But her “Something Bad” duet partner Miranda Lambert has dominated more recently, taking female vocalist of the year honors in 2010 and every year since.

Miranda’s also nominated this year. She and Carrie will be going up against Kelsea Ballerini, Jana Kramer and Kacey Musgraves.

Oh, and there are plenty of other reasons for fans of TV’s singing shows to tune in.

Carrie will be performing during Sunday night’s telecast. She’ll be singing her new single, “Church Bells,” the third released from her “Storyteller” album.

Also performing will Keith Urban and Season 3 The Voice winner Cassadee Pope.

Cassadee will be singing “Think of You,” her duet with Chris Young. It’s turned into one of the biggest singles featuring a former contestant from The Voice. The song has been on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart for 13 weeks and just cracked the Top 10 on that chart last week.

Other performances will include a duet by Dolly Parton and Katy Perry and the debut of a new single by Jason Aldean.

As for nominations, Season 2 The Voice standout RaeLynn is nominated for best new country artist alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Cam and Mickey Guyton.

And Keith Urban landed a nomination in the vocal event of the year category for his performance of “Raise ‘Em Up” with Eric Church.
