Well, here comes a second chance.

On Tuesday, Carrie announced a new tour date at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Opening for Carrie will be Billy Currington and Sons of Sylvia.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Downtown Theatre, Penn State Altoona Campus, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/ or http://www.bjc.psu.edu/ or charge by phone at (814) 865-5555.

Carrie, of course, just became the first female to win the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award twice at Sunday night’s televised awards ceremony. For a photo gallery of the show, go here.

She also won a Triple Crown Award for having captured Entertainer of the Year, Best New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year honors over the course of her career.

She won the latter award three straight years before Miranda Lambert broke the streak Sunday night.
