Cassadee Pope, Season 3, The Live Finals, The Voice

Cassadee Pope #1 on the iTunes singles chart

Get ready to chalk up some big-time bonus points for Cassadee Pope on The Voice.

For the past two weeks, Carson Daly has been telling us any artist whose tune hits the top 10 on iTunes will get bonus points if they make the finals.

Top 10, huh?

At 10 a.m. this morning, when Voice voting ended, Cassadee Pope’s version of “Over You” was sitting at number one.

Among all singles. From anyone, singing show contestant or not.

Her performance was so popular that some voters apparently got confused and downloaded her earlier Voice performance of “Not Over You” instead.

That song is sitting at 85 on the iTunes chart.

Wow.

But Cassadee wasn’t the only Voice contestant whose performance was well received.

All in all, it was a solid night for performances on The Voice.

Three other contestants cracked the top 20 and a fourth landed in the top 30.

Here’s where everyone after Cassadee was ranked as of 10:05 a.m. EST.

13. Melanie Martinez, “Seven Nation Army”
15 Amanda Brown, “Stars”
17. Nicholas David, “Lean on Me”
29. Dez Duron, “Feeling Good”
69. Terry McDermott, “Summer of ’69
83. Bryan Keith, “New York State of Mind”
125. Sylvia Yacoub, “Girl on Fire”
136. Cody Belew, “Crazy in Love”
142. Trevin Hunte, “Scream”

Go here for my recap of last night’s show.

And check back tonight for a live blog as the Top 8 are revealed.
