Carrie Underwood’s fifth album, “Storyteller,” comes out Friday.
And Carrie continues to tease us a track at a time by releasing “Renegade Runaway.”
Fans clearly don’t mind. As of Sunday night, all three songs Carrie has released from the new album were in the Top 15 on iTunes country singles chart.
That included lead single “Smoke Break” at number five, “Renegade Runaway” at number eight and “Heartbeat” at number 13.
All three tracks are available as instant downloads for anyone pre-ordering the album.
Clearly, the new song is part of the “rock twang” Carrie promised when she talked about the upcoming album earlier this year.
Carrie wrote “Renegade Runaway” with Chris DeStefano and Hillary Lindsey. The same trio wrote “Smoke Break”
Carrie will be celebrating “Storyteller’s” release on Friday by performing on NBC’s Today.
