New post-Voice music out this week includes Christmas originals from RaeLynn, Grace Askew and Brooke Simpson.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* RaeLynn from Season 2 has released an original called “Jingle Bell Drunk” as part of a two-song Christmas package that also includes a cover of “Silent Night.” The latter features her cousin’s band Garrison. As for the former, writes Raelynn: “Well all made it to Christmas 2020. Let’s thank Jesus and make a drink.

* Grace Askew from Season 4 has served up a Christmas original called “Red Dirt Christmas.” And anyone familiar with Grace’s music will immediately recognize her trademark sound, even if it is a holiday tune.

* Brooke Simpson, a Season 13 finalist, serves up another of her great vocals on the original holiday song, “I Got You.” Writes Brooke: “I wrote it, just me and a piano, on Christmas Day last year when I was feeling a lil emo. But little did I know how much more accurate the lyrics would feel in 2020.”
