Among the new post-Voice music released this week are songs from three ladies we met in recent seasons on The Voice.

That includes Marina Chello, who just dropped her first single in about a decade, Kendra Checketts and Kyndal Inskeep.

Marina Chello from Season 17 released her post-show debut Friday, a song called “Rain Down on Me.” She says she wrote the song about 10 years ago, but credits producer Donnie K. Lang for helping bring it to life. “It’s about washing away all negativity. Washing away anything that’s not making you happy or that’s making you stressed out and making you happy again.” Marina has also released a performance video for the song.

Kendra Checketts from Season 16 is back with an excellent breakup song called “Dear Jay.” Writes Kendra on Instagram: “This song talks about the ups and the downs, the good and the bad, and everything in between.” It’s the third single from Kendra since The Voice, following “Nightmare” and “Done.” And an album is coming.

Kyndal Inskeep from Season 17 dropped her second single since the show on Friday. It’s called “Ghost Town” and lands as she’s celebrating 25,000 Spotify streams of her post-show debut, “The Letter.” Kyndal was 22 when she auditioned for the show and made it to the Top 20.
