Colton, not Zach, sings lead this time around.
It’s a song about a girl who doesn’t want a long-term relationship with a guy, but can’t quite cut the string either.
And the guy isn’t comfortable being strung along.
“It’s a song we can all relate to,” Colton Swon said in a press release that announced the single. “It’s about finally getting to a point where you get over the things you need to get over, and you can move on with your life.”
The song comes from the duo’s new “Pretty Cool Scars” EP. Check it out, if you haven’t. Other standout tracks include “About Last Night” and “Dwight Trashed.”
The Swon Brothers placed third on Season 4 of The Voice, the best performance ever by a duo. They’ve released an album and two EPs since then.
