After The Voice

Check out the new single from Team Blake veteran Jordan Rager

former contestant for Team Blake on The Voice has released a new single.

And, yep, you guessed it. That means a new country tune, this time courtesy of Jordan Rager.

Jordan, a 21-year-old from Loganville, Ga., landed a spot on The Voice singing “Chicken Fried” way back in Season 2 and advanced to the battle round before being eliminated.

Flash forward three and a half years and he’s now signed to Broken Bow Records with plans to release a debut album next year.

And Taste of Country reports that the album just might include a duet with label mate Jason Aldean.

As for the new song, it’s called “Feels Like One of Them” and that’s the lyric video embedded above.

The song was written by Jeremy Stover and Jaron Boyer.

Here’s how Jordan describes it on his website: “It’s about being open to possibility, being right there on the front edge of something and having this tremendous anticipation.

“All of us have those nights where we can just feel the great memories coming on, but this song also gets me thinking about being on the verge of a brand new adventure with my career.”

Though the new tune is being billed as Jordan’s lead single, he previously released two others to iTunes — “Small Town Skyscrapers” earlier this year and “The Last Song” back in 2012, around the time he appeared on The Voice.

You can track Jordan through his website and Facebook. On Twitter, he’s @Jordan_Rager.
