And the EP by the same name is now scheduled for release Friday, Feb. 26.
Keith is the veteran rocker from Chicago who made the Top 20 as a member of Team Adam Levine on Season 9 of The Voice. He was eliminated in the live playoffs.
He promptly returned to his pre-Voice band Semple and began working on the new project.
He deubted the single “Anything Anywhere” last month — it isn’t on iTunes yet — and the video landed over the weekend.
The uptempo song has a bit of country flair. In fact, in a Tweet announcing it, Keith used the hashtags #newgenre and #countrycrossover.
Wondering about the “daydream girl” in the video? In another Tweet, Keith identifies her as meggyjo22.
During his run on The Voice, Keith announced that he and his wife Lanette are expecting their second child early this year. They also have a daughter, Rowan.
You can head here to listen to a sampler from the upcoming Semple EP.
Follow Keith through his Facebook page or his website, where you’ll find a list of several upcoming shows.
Update: Congrats to Keith and Lanette, who posted a photo of their new baby daughter Rozlyn Jayne Semple, born shortly after noon Tuesday, Jan. 26.
