Stefano Langone has a new single called “Yes to Love.”

And he released the video to the single today. I’ve embedded it below.

Actually, the single has been available on iTunes since mid-February.

It’s the second he’s released since finishing seventh on Season 10 of American Idol, following “I’m On a Roll,” released about a year ago.

And in a webisode on his website, he says the song was a natural fit.

“When I came into the studio one day, ‘Yes to Love’ came up,” Stefano recalls. “Right when I heard it, I knew it was something I could definitely sing and feel.

“It’s a very beautiful love story,” he adds. “Being the romantic I am, I love this song. This song is so heartfelt and real.”

I’m not so sure about the beautiful love story. The lyrics strike me as trite and cliched.

But Stefano — he goes by just a first name now — scores high marks for execution, and the song’s got a very catchy chorus.
