Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Chris Blue, the Season 12 champ, released a catchy new single called “Moon” on Friday, writing on social media that it “could very well be the start of something special.” He called his 2020 single “Back 2 the Future” his re-introduction. He told Knoxville TV station WVLT Channel 8 that with “Moon,” “I really wanted to open up my life, open up my heart. So, you’ll see a combination of reality, religion, just real-life stuff.” Plus lots of dance moves and a touch of sci-fi in the music video.

* Fousheé from Season 15 has an exciting new collaboration out with none other than Lil’ Wayne called “gold fronts.” The accompanying video made premiered on MTV Live, MTVU & BET Soul. “This record pretty much wrote itself,” Fousheé told RespectMag.com. “I was really trying to write in a way that felt tangible and approach how living in a pandemic feels without actually saying those words. There’s something spiritual about this song and I hope everyone feels that.”

* Ashley DuBose from Season 4 released a fun new song called “Boy Crazy” last week. There’s a fun music video too, and Ne-Yo hosted the online video release party on Thursday. The music video description calls “Boy Crazy’ “a sultry song and video (with) just the right mix of nostalgia, sass and good vibrations, making it the perfect summer jam.”
