Idol Chatter & Voice Views

Well, we know one of the guest performers for the Thursday, March 15, results show on American Idol.

Chris Daughtry and his band will appear that night to sing their new single, “Outta My Head,” the band announced in an e-mail to fans Tuesday morning.

Great news, in my mind.  I think Idol should focus solely on reintroducing us to former contestants and their current music during the Season 11 results shows.

Daughtry also announced the second leg of its Break the Spell tour.  Don’t get too excited about that.  Most of the dates are out West.

But the band still has that Wednesday, March 21, gig coming up at the Reading Eagle Theatre at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa.  Tickets went on sale Jan. 27 and range from $32.50 to $52.50, plus fees.
