But the 22-year-old from the Pittsburgh area has been making up for lost time in the past month.
During that time he’s released his first single (“Better Man”), his first EP (“I am Chris Jamison) and now his first music video (for “Better Man,” of course).
The video debuted earlier this week and features footage from his grandparent’s wedding.
Writes Chris on Facebook: ” My Grandpa passed away before I was born, so home videos, pictures and stories have been my only way of getting to know him.
“The fact that I can share one of those home videos with all of you, means the world to me. I know that he would be beyond proud to see how his family has grown over the past 23 years. This video is for you, Pap.”
Chris also has a hometown show coming up Sept. 2 at the The Oaks Theater. Tickets are $20 and $25 and available now.
You can follow Chris through Facebook and his website. On Twitter, he is @iamchrisjamison.
