The great news: Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will be back, meaning we’ll be entertained by more of their delightful banter next spring.
More great news: Pharrell Williams will return for a fourth straight season.
The so-so news: Christina Aguilera will be back to fill out the Season 10 coaching quartet.
At least it’s so-so news from my perspective as a fan of the show. I found Shakira more down to earth during the two seasons she coached.
And Gwen Stefani has won me over with the way she’s melded with the current coaching panel. Not to mention she seems absolutely delighted to be part of the show. And isn’t afraid to mix it up with the guys.
Christina? She’s always come off as a bit too diva-ish for my taste.
Anyway, Season 10 will mark her sixth as coach. She was on the show for its first three seasons, plus Season 5 and Season 8.
Adam and Blake haven’t missed a season yet. Here’s hoping they never do.
Filming for Season 10 begins this weekend.
