Season 11, Season 11 Semifinals

Colton Dixon, Chelsea Sorrell most popular on Facebook

1

Over the weekend, I checked on the number of Twitter followers for each of the remaining 24 American Idol contestants.

I didn’t get to check on Facebook totals until Monday evening.

Guess what?   Heejun Han might rule on Twitter, but not on Facebook.

Colton Dixon has the most “likes” for his Facebook page at more than 7,000 as of 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.   He has about 1,300 more “likes” than Heejun, who ranks second.

Tops among the gals:  the seldom-seem Chelsea Sorrell with just over 2,000.

And for those who don’t think guys have a huge edge on Idol, I’d point this out:  Chelsea might lead the gals, but it all 24 contestants were combined, she’d rank just seventh.

Here are each contestant’s Facebook links and likes, as of 10:45 a.m.  EST on Tuesday.
