Original blogs: So, were you wondering when we’d get new music from the Season 11 American Idol finalists?
Well, it looks like Colton Dixon will beat everyone else to the punch.
Colton recently announced that he has signed with EMI/CMG (Christian Music Group) and Sparrow Records.
And “Never Gone,” the original song he performed throughout the American Idol tour, will be available for download from iTunes on Tuesday.
But, wait, that isn’t Colton’s official first single.
That will be a worship song called “You Are” that he started writing about a year and a half ago, Colton said in a recent video message to fans.
“It’s be on the radio very, very soon,” Colton says. “I’m thrilled that it’s going on the album, let alone it being my first single.”
As for the album, EW.com is reporting that it will be out in February.
